WELCOME TO THE 14th WORLD FIREFIGHTERS GAMES 2022!
The 14th edition of the World Firefighters Games will take place in Lisbon, Portugal.
Lisbon is the largest city in Portugal and the capital of the Portuguese country.
The World’s Leading City Break Destination according to the World Travel Awards, is prepared to host firefighters from all over the world during the dates of 30 April — 7 May 2022.
The Games Village will be located at: Estádio Universitário de Lisboa
(Address: Avenida Professor Egas Moniz 1600-190 Lisbon).
Many of the World Firefighters Games sports will be conducted at this venue that features multiple football/ rugby fields, sports halls, athletics tracks, tennis courts, and much more!
Full-time, part-time, volunteer structural firefighters and bush firefighters, aviation fire services and military emergency response personnel, and their immediate direct family are welcome to visit Portugal and participate in more than 40 different sports.

Each new edition of the World Firefighters Games features more than 40 different sports. Participants are allowed to participate in various sports during the week of the event.

More than 40,000 firefighters have competed in the World Firefighters Games since the first edition in New Zealand back in 1990.

Throughout the 13 editions of the games, firefighters from more than 50 countries and from all the 5 continents have participated.
